How much time on social media daily?

Hello ! I usually spent 15-20 hours a day doing social media. Well, when I was a little kid I am using social media to learn some sort of things that can improve my personal, emotional, and spiritual aspects in my life. But sometimes social media making your day so bad just like cyber bullying, cyber blackmail. But most of the time social media for me is a better way to make things easy and possible.
Wow, that's a lot of time on social media. Do you use it only for your personal use or do you use if for any business or marketing also?
I really don't do any social media activities other than spamming people on Facebook with referral links.
How is that working out for you? You have to be careful with spamming referral links on Facebook because a lot of people get their account banned/closed for this.
I spend more time in watching videos in youtube... like DIY videos and some tutorials that can give me some tips to start up my own business...
What kind of business are you thinking about starting? Something online perhaps?
Photoshop but it's awesome for throwing up a funny post about, say, National Watermelon Day. Which is today, in case that's something you can play with on your accounts!
I didn't know they had a National Watermelon Day. I learned something today which I try to do every day. Thanks :Thumb:
I am counting responding to forums such as this in my equation, if that makes sense.
It makes sense to me since forums are social websites with interaction between people. They were the social sites before the modern social sites like Facebook and the other came to be.
I use social media to promote everything I am doing online, so it is pretty high-maintenance.
I know this all to well myself. I sometimes wish I had a clone of myself that I could have do all the social needs that I have. ;)
To be a hundred per cent honest here I hate social medias. I think they are a great tool when it comes to giving your work some exposure but that is it. I don't really appreciate tons of people trying to promote themselves. That said there is no way to avoid it. I keep my facebook logged and check every hour or so to see the notifications and that's it.
I hear you there. Some of the social media networks are pretty much nothing but promotional posts and spam. It would be hard, if not impossible, to find a social media platform that isn't used highly for promotional purposes.

A good portion of my day is spent logged into social media because of the type of work that I do. As far as social media on a personal level, I would say maybe 1-2 hours daily at most.

I use social media at a minimum - for about an hour or so. There's no meaning for me to be engaging to them longer than that. I feel it's better to connect with real people or to actually meet them in daily basis. But yes, for friends whom you can't meet, the social media sure is a good medium to connect to them. And I on the larger part use social media fans page for promoting products and services. So I think that's one benefit of using them.

I feel like an addict reading all these comments, daily during studies I spend 1 or 2 hours of shared time (not only being on social medias, but also for example doing some research about a homework or doing something else, nothing that takes too much of my time). During vacations I surely spend at least 2 regulars hours ad 2 shared hours a day, unless I have a pending job where I need to concentrate or I go out.

Does the amount of time that you spend on social media for work directly impact your job/business?

Is your social media use for both business and personal?

Is your social media activities just for personal uses/needs?

I spend a little over 6 hours in a week on social platforms. The majority percentage of those 6 hours is spent on twitter. This platform is great for social media marketing.People are interested in finding out whats new on twitter unlike in facebook where the majority is posting pictures and liking said pictures e.t.c.Tweets are constructive and informative and to the point. Most of the time I am on twitter I look up what"s going on in the country and I also get to know the people interested in my web hosting service.

Twitter has always been my top choice for social media marketing and over the period of a year I get the majority of my social media traffic and responses from it.

Facebook does have a strong month for me once in a while but Twitter is just more consistent for my needs in the long run.

Twitter is the one that I spend the most time one because it has always seemed to work better for marketing and promoting things no matter what it is.

I don't really spend 6 hours a week though because I automate a lot of my Twitter postings and don't really have that much time to spend on it lately but it is a good platform for my needs.

I have been just so addicted to social media lately but not for chatting or checking in with friends or family but just reading the wealth of information that is there.

I have been looking up a lot of things about internet marketing and trying to improve my knowledge in that area and the searches there give some nice information bits.

I'm going to have to cut down a little because it's cutting into my sleep though.

I used to spend several hours a day on the social media sites last year when I was trying to learn more about internet marketing but lately I have only been on there maybe 20-30 minutes a day.

I have been spending more time searching in Google then on the social media sites.

More and more people that I talk to and deal with are spending more and more time on the social media sites. I seem to spend less than many people I deal with. I try to be very efficient with my time on them and spend roughly 30 minutes on them doing various tasks, give or take, per day.

So I am curious how much time our members spend on the social media websites on a daily basis. How much time do you spend on the social media websites each day?

I open my facebook account in the morning and spend about thirty minutes. In the evening, I spend again about thirty minutes. Well, I try to discipline myself in spending time on Facebook because I might neglect doing other important chores at home. I see to it that all is set before spending time on Facebook.

I know more and more people join facebook today and more and more friends that we have to accept. I don't spend so much of my time on facebook but I make sure that I kept my friends updated if ever we have some events or occasion to attend.

I always use Facebook, like my everyday routine since I always use it for interacting with the people that I love, mostly family members. I also use Facebook than other social media sites since you can do almost anything with Facebook. I learn from the videos that I see especially with Cooking and Tutorial ones. Sometimes I just browse my news feed if I am not working online.

I can spend about an hour or so in social media when I was younger. But now that I'm in 30's and a mother, I reduced spending time with Social Media. I don't see the need to go in and out every hour. But when am doing business, I would spend time on Messenger and Facebook probably an hour or so. When am done, I get back to my usual devoted time for my child.

I usually spend many hours a day.
I have few groups where I have many visitors.
As a rough calculation maybe 4 to 10 hours a day.
