More and more people that I talk to and deal with are spending more and more time on the social media sites. I seem to spend less than many people I deal with. I try to be very efficient with my time on them and spend roughly 30 minutes on them doing various tasks, give or take, per day.

So I am curious how much time our members spend on the social media websites on a daily basis. How much time do you spend on the social media websites each day?

I spend maybe one half hour to one hour but that is just to look around and get some new ideas for some things I want to do. I really do not do chat or talk with anyone but mostly reading some things.

To be honest my time that I spend on the social media websites will range for about 10 minutes to maybe 45 minutes or so. It all depends on what I am doing.

If I am doing some informational research then it's at the larger end of that time frame and if I am just checking updates then the lower.

I do that from time to time myself. Sometimes the social media sites can be of good use for researching! ;)

I used to have more time for research but not so much lately. Maybe 2017 will allow more time for that. ;)

I'm not on the social sites every day but usually maybe 2 or 3 times per week. When I do on on them though I sometimes spend an hour or 2 looking at things I think might be useful for my internet marketing.

I am only on the social media websites a few times a week so it's not every day but when I do I am on them for maybe about an hour. It all depends on what I am doing. when looking for information I am on longer than when I am just looking around.

I think that the average amount of time that I spend on my social media activities would be somewhere around an hour or so. Some days it's less than that and some days it's more but I think that it averages an hour.

I also do that and have found many good things, good information and resources. You would be surprised at how much you can learn by just searching around them.

I usually spend 30 to 40 minutes in each of Social Sites Like Facebook, Twitter, Google+ and LinkedIn. In these social sites I will check the latest updates related to my niche and also share my blog posts (Including older ones) frequently. In Facebook I check my Facebook Page and its insights as well. Which will help me to take decisions on my Facebook Promotion.

I sometimes spend 15 or 30 minutes but the usual amount is probably about an hour. I spend most of the time looking around facebook to help get information and ideas for my marketing.

The last couple of weeks I have been spending much more time on the social media websites that I used to and Facebook in particular. I'm doing so information gathering for my internet marketing efforts and I have been on the social media websites about 2 hours every day. On the weekends I have been spending 3 to 4 hours since I have more free time then.

That tends to happen to a lot of us internet marketers. We're always trying to find a better way to do things to make more money, ways to expand our marketing efforts, research new products and services and all kinds of other information research.

You have to have good information so that your internet marketing efforts are more productive and your earnings are higher. ;)

That's what I am trying to learn about. I am looking for any kind of good information that can help me with my internet marketing. The only problem is that I don't know which is good and which is bad all the time.

Well I would recommend that you read as much information as you can on the subject and then if/when you have any questions you just come back here and post up a thread and ask people about the things that you are not sure of.

It's always a good idea to ask for information and help from those that have been through or have good knowledge about what you are trying to learn. ;)

I usually tend to spend around 2 hours per week doing social media. The problem with social media, at least in my field of work, web hosting, is that the customers are not there. The only real effective network where you gain interaction is done via Twitter. And I am not sure how many sales we even had from Twitter. Facebook, Google+, LinkedIN are useless. On Facebook some customers come to read reviews and so on but they only stay for a few minutes and never return.
So basically Social Media is done just to be present there but without any real returns.
