How many web hosting affiliate programs do you use?

I have been seeing many more advertisements on the internet lately so maybe they are sticking more with that since people online might buy their services more.
I saw a blog post that said they used to be a private company that was owned by 1 man and now they sold stock so maybe they are trying to save money for the stock holders.

If they have to answer to stock holders then that would explain it. The stock holders always want to get as much as they can for their investment.

I understand that but you want your customers and potential customers to be happy so they stay with you and not go to your competition.

I have only used one which is Godaddy. I am not really in a niche that I think using a lot of web hosting affiliate programs would do me much good so using Godaddy is my only one.

I use that one because more people have heard of them than other I think.

They advertise all the time online and on TV is some countries so most people know them. I use them too but they are not doing too much good nowadays.

I never had much success with them but that is probably because I am in the fashion niche and that is probably why. I have had a couple of good sales here and there but not what I would like.

The fashion niche will probably not be too good to use web hosting affiliate offers in. Maybe if you had some people that wanted to start their own fashion niche blog.

Do you guys sign up for the affiliate programs directly or work via some agency? As a hosting provider, i'm interested what the possible affiliates would prefer.

I figured that it would not make me much money but I was thinking that it might do some good every once in a while for people looking to start their own blogs. I do have some posts about starting your own fashion blog and those are the posts where the ads are showing.

I think that most of the people would prefer to use an affiliate network like cj.com or shareasale.com. This way affiliate can get paid for all the things they make commissions from. Many affiliates do not like working with the web hosting companies directly for the reason that it can take longer to get paid that way.

Do you have a program on any of those or another place?

I used 3 different affiliate programs from 3 different hosting providers on my blogs in the past, but they didn't generate more money from this way, I switched to Google Adsense, i think this way is better than apply affiliate programs, anyway to succeed with affiliate marketing, you need to have high traffic on your websites or blogs.

I use 2. One I get 40% and 50% on the other but the payout is a $100 minimum.
Commissions are pretty high, I am sure you got that from popular web hosting providers, right?
Honestly, I used affiliate from Hostgator in the past with 25% but I moved to another advertising method to get better revenue from my websites.
