Should I write all my own blog posts?

I have been having a hard time keeping new blog posts added to my blog and I have been thinking about hiring a writer to do some of them for me but I did not know if that really mattered or not.

Do you think that it is good or bad to have someone write blog posts and other content for your blog?

It really does not matter who write your blog posts as long as they are good quality material. I know that some people think that writing your own blog posts and other content affects the SEO of the site but those are only people that do not know how SEO works. The writer of a blog post or other content doesn't affect the SEO of a site.

If you don't have the time to do you own posts regularly then I say you should go ahead and hire someone to write some for you. Just try to make sure that you will be getting quality material and not just something that they copy and paste from another blog post somewhere.

It is better to just hire someone to write some content for you than to just let your site sit and not have anything new posted for a long period of time.

It is up to you to decide if you should write your own blog posts but it does not matter who writes them as long as they are not plagiarized from other blogs and they need to be good quality so your blog readers want to come back to your blog. If you do not have the time then just hire a good writer.

Since you are having a hard time with keeping up with adding new blog posts then you should just hire someone to write some for you. Even if it's just temporary, it's better to keep updating your blog with new content than it is to just let it stay idling.

It doesn't matter if you write your content or if someone else does, as long as it's good stuff.

As long as you have good blog posts then you should not worry who is writing them. If you have no more time to do them yourself then you can just hire a good writer to do some for you so your blog does not go down in the rankings in google. You can try to post and advertisement in the forum here for a writer.

I was thinking about saying about posting in the forum here to look for a good writer to hire but I forget to put that. That is a good idea mate. I might try doing that myself when I do not have time to keep writing my blog posts.

I like writing all of my own blog post articles but that is because mine are a lot of cooking and home types of posts that I want specific details in them to fit my exact wants.

If you are not needing something like that then I don't think it makes much of a difference at all with who writes your posts. It's better to keep putting up more content so if you can't do it yourself then hiring someone would be a good option.

Go ahead and hire someone to write some posts for you since you don't have enough time to keep writing them for yourself. I have done that myself when I have been running short on extra time to write them all myself.

It does not make any difference for who writes your blog posts but you must be careful that they are not just some that are copied from another blog or that can hurt your rankings possibly. Many of the cheaper writers will just use article spinners to make things easier and not have to write the article. Those usually look bad too.

Thanks for all the replies everyone. I don't know how I would know of the work a writer does is good quality work. How can I find that out?
Ask them for examples of their writing and also see if you can find any reviews for the writer or the service that you are thinking of trying to use. Some writers I have seen that are offering their writing service are giving away free work to test them out. You can maybe see if any you like are doing that.

Are article spinners the same thing as article rewriters? I have seen some of those before but did not know what they were really for.

I have seen that some writer will have sample works that you can see so that might be something that you can ask a potential writer. Some even give out free samples as I have seen at some places before.
The samples that I have seen are short and they don't really give you a good idea as to whether or not the writer can write good regular length articles.

I didn't know that many writers would do that since they might be afraid that the person would not buy anything from them after the free one.

Yes they are the same thing. Those will not be good to use if you want to have a good blog.

You can check the post with copyscape and see if it is a plagiarized post. You can also check in Google to see if the same one is posted somewhere else.

Yes many do it because they want you to buy more from them over and over. So they sometime give you a free one with the hope that they get more business from you later.

Thanks, I will check into what copyscape is. How do I check in Google though?

I see. It still seems like you might get some people that want the free ones and that's it but I guess it might be worth it for the writers even if they lose a few.

If they are too short for you to make a good judgement of their quality then ask them if they have longer samples.

I have already asked one writer about this and they referred me to a blog that they said had their writing for it's posts.

The only thing is that there is no way to know if they are really their posts because it has someone else listed as the author.

That's good Idea, hire some guest writer or blogger. I saw a lot of blogger sites hiring a guest writer to write some content. Aside from getting some help, you will now have time to promote your site, you can focus on that, and having a guest blogger will give you additional information and style of writing. Guest blogger will help a lot.
