Should I post on the social media networks every day?

Oh, so if I do three a day then every 8 hours would be good then?
I believe so, yeah. Obviously, if you're trying to cater to an audience with a specific geographic placement (like your country) you can post them with a shorter span in-between and away from usual work/school hours (never post in the morning, unless it's very early), anytime past 18:00 will probably do just fine. Just have a look at the timezones of the countries your visitors/followers come from.

What do you mean by well maintained? Posts made regularly or the upkeep of a site?

I am mostly just marketing my blog posts, reviews and things like that. Should I not worry about posting daily?

Do you post on the same two days each week or mix it around?
It tends to fall on the same days yes. I try and squeeze in a post Tuesday and Thursday, Friday max. I think it's a good thing to post on the same day every week. Keeps your audience in expectative.

This one really depends on the content you are posting, if you are creating videos that have a length of 5 minutes or above and a lot of time has been dedicated to them, then it's even okay to post weekly. If you are posting memes or just pictures with quotes then you should upload every hour or so. Everything depends on the niche you are in and how much hours you've invested in your work.

I am not really targeting any kind of particular audience location. I will try to look into finding out more about my visitors to my blog in Google analytics and see if there is anything that might give me an idea. Thanks

Ok. That sounds like a good idea. If they know that you are consistent then maybe that can help your posts be more successful. Thanks

I am mostly posting images with some information about a blog post I have in hopes of getting traffic to my blog.

Yes, I figure that if people know what to expect from you, it's easier to keep them hooked. Unless it's something that needs to be changed. For example, I have just changed my layout. It was pitch black and I loved it. Some other readers liked it too, but the majority of people that I talked to said that should switch so, the reader is always right.

You have to listen to your reads since they are the ones who help to determine your success in some part.

I encourage you to post more content if you can. At first, maybe it will be hard in creating such different valuable content but remember this can attract most viewers. Now, if you have a solid followers, then I think you can post less. These followers of yours are your crown and glory. They are the person who is responsible in sharing your site to the greater public specially if they really like what they saw in your blog. It may take up sometime to build your own empire of followers in social media but it will be really worth it. So, go post and provide a good content.

We are not require to post on facebook everyday. I think its not mandatory ,your free to post on fb anytime you want even how long before you visit your account as long as you remember your password. Its up to you how you manage your account.

Posting in social media has it's pros and cons. In posting, you will be able to communicate with people all around the world. You can make new friends/communicate or connect with old friends/family and the social media can bring people together that are interested in the same things as you are. However, posting inappropriate statuses/pictures in social media somehow opens windows and doors for people to gossip and bully you or someone which is very unhealthy psychologically. I believe that you should have a balance with everything, a little privacy can help you enjoy more the things in life and you do not need to tell everyone in social media of what you are doing, how are you feeling and etc. Sometimes we need to keep things down low and enjoy things privately.

It's not really hard for me to create good posts but just finding the time to do them is the hardest part because I have so many things going on at once.

It's hard to keep anything private these days because almost everything is on the internet somewhere. I do keep personal things out of my posts though.

I do not think that posting on your social media accounts every day is needed but it can help your results by doing so.

Frequent updates and postings can help to get better results from the use of social media.

I know it is better but I am having a hard time keeping up with everything I have to do so that I can post more. I am trying to make some more time for my social media things.

I have seen some good replies here but some things that I want to point out are that how often you post on the social media website will partly depend on what you are posting, who your followers are, what you are trying to achieve and some other things that vary from situation to situation.

I would recommend trying to post daily if you can and if not then at the very minimum, every other day. A couple of posts per day would be better but I understand that time matters.

One thing you don't want to ever do is post junk or low-quality posts just for the sake of posting something as that can cost you followers. ;)

I have been posting every day for a couple of weeks and have only missed 1 day I think.

I always try to make good posts and nothing that I think looks low quality because I wouldn't want to see things like that myself.

Regular posting on social media is good to keep your social media accounts active and try to keep all the information updated so that visitor can better understand your product/service is all about. Keep tagging your networks on the post to reach the large audience. Keep sharing your post on groups.

I haven't really done much in the groups. Are they worth the time or is the regular posting good enough?

Both are good techniques to get traffic to your website. Posting Regularly on social media accounts keeps your account active but posting in a group of thousands of members increase your reach much more as it gives notification to all the members that someone shared a post, it automatically boosts your traffic. Remember don't publish a direct post in the group rather shared the post from your business page gives more value to it.

I see your point there. I have just not done much in the groups because I just don't understand them and how they work really. I know I have to do some info seeking on them though.
I think we should post daily, but the problem that it's too hard to find new things to post daily :(
Answering threads are the best for me because it means we're not spamming.
You mean that you answer questions that other users post or your own posts?
