I am mainly just doing affiliate marketing (trying) and have noticed that most affiliate marketers use Facebook the most as it seems.

Is Facebook the best social media website for affiliates?

I think that the best social media network to use for affiliate marketing will depend on many things and one of the main one is your marketing techniques.

Facebook is one of the ones that many affiliate marketers like best but for me personally I prefer Twitter since I seem to get better response there and it's just simpler to use.

I just see so much junk and spam on twitter that I think that many people will just ignore a lot of tweets. The junk seems like it is less on facebook.

Yes Facebook can be great for affiliate marketers as long as they are not using Facebook to spam their offers or using promotion and marketing techniques that will get you in trouble with Facebook and possible get banned.

Do you just make posts on your Facebook page or do you do other types of things on Facebook also?

I hate spammers and I would never do any spamming myself for just that reason.

Facebook can be a little touchy with their spam rules and penalties at times so you really have to be careful on there. You always want to play things a little on the safe side instead of on the edge of what is allowed.

I don't spend a lot of time on the social media websites other than a little time on Facebook most days but based on what I have seen around Facebook it seems like there are a lot of affiliate marketers there so it must be good.

There are a lot of affiliate marketers on Facebook because there are a lot of people on Facebook so there are more potential buyers of what they are marketing.

Since I see a lot of marketing ads from affiliates all the time it is probably pretty good. I think that it matters what you are marketing though.

I have been spending many hours on facebook doing some looking at information for my marketing and I see that many people use it for their affiliate marketing so it probably is the best one. I think that some facebook account do too much promotion though and look like spammers.

Good idea, thank for post it.
First off, we will cover the marketing possible of Facebook, and why it’s so vital to use as a tool in your affiliate plan. We’ll then go over how to set up your own page so you can use Facebook to increase your marketing reach.

Based on what I have seen lately it seems like Facebook, Youtube and Pinterest are the sites that most people are using to market and promote their affiliate offers.

I think it depends on what kind of affiliate things you are trying to sell. Facebook is good for some but some thing will probably be better on Pinterest, Youtube or one of the other social media websites. It depends on what people you are trying to contact with.

You could say yes because I have seen marketers do some really big numbers, talking about $50k a day via FB ads alone. The good thing about FB is it's huge audience which continues to grow on a daily basis. Also, one can target many niches for a lot less CPC than Google Adwords.
That is a lot of money. I never thought the amounts would be so high except for really big companies.

Is that spending or sales?

Facebook by the total number of users is the biggest social media platform. For affiliate marketing because of the user base and the targeted ads Facebook can be an effective social media platform.
What about not using Facebook ads and just using free marketing ways on Facebook?
