I have not heard about that format but I will tell him and I am sure he will know because he does this for many people he know. Thank you for the helpAsk him to create logo for you in PSD format so that you can resize that one according to your needs .
There is nothing like specific size of logo , it depends what sort of CMS you are using to create your website and logo placement will look perfect over there.
It will be for my blog and emails for right now. I will use it on my social profiles too so that people can be familiar with it. I might use it for other things later in the future but I am not certain of what. Will the logo he is making be for your blog only or will you use it on other places like the social media websites and in your emails?
I really do not know what the biggest size that I would ever use would be. Maybe if I used a big one in my marketing emails but I still do not know what the size would be.I would just try to figure out what the biggest size you will ever use is and then make it that size in a format that can be resized without losing quality.
Then perhaps you should start real big so that you can reduce the size as you need. Maybe go with something like 2000x2000 or something in that range.I really do not know what the biggest size that I would ever use would be. I saw some things on a google search that said that 3000x3000 or 2000x2000 would be good sizes to do so I will tell the person who is doing this for me when he gets back from his holiday. Then perhaps you should start real big so that you can reduce the size as you need. as long as it's the biggest size you would ever need then that's all that matters. Well that and the logo should be in a vector format so you can resize it without messing up the quality.I saw some things on a google search that said that 3000x3000 or 2000x2000 would be good sizes to do so I will tell the person who is doing this for me when he gets back from his holiday.
Will those sizes be big enough to use on other things like emails?Every website has different size of logo. But the ideal size of a logo should be square, like 300x300 or 400x400.
