High commission vs low commission

I would go with which one will give you the best overall total commission amounts. Meaning that if you were promoting something that you got $10 each for and could sell 20 or something you got $100 each but could only sell one then go for the $10 item.

If the higher commission one would make more overall money even with less sales then go with that one.

Catch what I am saying?
Yes I understand it. When I was new I kept looking for the things with the most commission amounts instead of ones that sell real easy. It seems like the lower commission ones are easier for me to make money.

Looking at commission amounts is something that many people in marketing in person do so I am sure that internet marketing is no different.

It's always better to make sure that whatever you market, no matter the commission amount, is something that you will be able to get conversions from otherwise the commission amount is irrelevant.

That is probably because the lower commission things are lower priced many times and people are more willing to put out a small amount of money rather than a higher amount of money.

I know this now after learning the harder ways. I just thought I would make more money with the higher commissions but I learned it is not that way all the times.

I was not thinking like that at first but now I have learned more and think about things other than the commission amounts.

Good for you. I keep learning new things all the time that help me and as long as we are learning then we are improving.

I spend many hours a week reading about lots of different things to learn more and have more success. Knowledge is a key to success I believe.

Yes it is but more importantly is current/recent knowledge. This is especially important for online things like internet marketing, websites and most other related things.

It's a tough one to answer considering that you need to take a lot of efforts especially for getting the referral signed up for the high paying affiliate programs. The low paying ones are usually easier to convert. Best bet would to take to your affiliate manager and he should be able to tell you more.

It depends on the products to be sold and the price of that product, you cannot simply give a high commission if the product is already cheap because you will gain less from it. Of course the other party should benefit but how about you. But more importantly commission is an important part it motivates your employees it is like an incentive pay for their extra hard work.
