Is commission junction good?

I like that they have so many advertisers to choose from so you do not have to go to each individual advertiser type to become an affiliate.
That's one of the things that I like about commission junction myself. I wish that they had better support for their affiliates because that itself would help them make more money with their affiliates.

They seem to have all the top companies for advertisers using their services so they must be good for them. Affiliates have them highly rated also which is a big plus.

I saw that and applied to them and was approved a while ago. They do have a very good selection of advertisers.

In my niche they seem to have more of the top and well known brands as advertisers so that really helps me to be able to find what I need most times.

It is probably true for many niches. I just did some looking at many other places and applied to a few because there were a couple of advertisers I wanted that they did not have.

Commission junction is hands down one of the top notch networks around. Not only in terms of how long they have been online, but also the variety of niches they cater to. Go ahead and apply, as they always welcome quality publishers with open arms.
I have already been approved. I have been looking through advertisers and trying to find the best ones to use. Many I have not heard of and I have to Google them to see who they are. I did read that they will start to take your earnings if you don't get sales for a little while so that has me concerned but I will probably still be using them.

Some of them might be on other affiliate networks like Share a sale or some other so you can check around.

I looked at a couple of others but didn't see them there. I think some just don't want to pay the fees to be on the big affiliate networks.

I don't know what it costs an advertiser to be on one of the big affiliate networks but if they are wanting to keep costs down then maybe using their own programs is the better choice for them and that's why you are not seeing them on the affiliate networks.

I saw something somewhere here that said that some places charge advertisers thousands of dollars just to be on their affiliate network. Seem like it should be the other way around.

I didn't know that. I thought that the affiliate networks just got a part of all the sales that are done through them.

Its not like that You have to deposit the funds over there so that when a Affiliate make a sale for you , his/her % share is shown up in their Funds Account.

Also for Securing all the 3 ----- Platform , Advertiser , Publisher .

If in case Publisher has given you false sale , Platform will check deduct the amount and revert in your account.

I don't know about all of them but there are some that do it to probably weed out the junk advertisers.

Here is the fee chart for advertisers on CJ Affiliate just to get started there:

Maybe but it's still strange to pay a service so that they can sell your product and make money for their own profits also.

Well 3 thousand dollars just to get setup seems a bit high for small advertisers but for larger ones it is nothing.
True but they probably also do that to keep the low quality advertisers and the potential scammers away since they would probably not want to pay $3,000 plus other fees just to sell something on their platform.

That might be so but it's the cost of doing business and in the business world there are many things that us regular people thing are strange.

I am guessing CJ must also be promoting the networks via their email list. Considering they have been in business for a long time and since they have a long list of admirers. So, the $3k is in the form of an exposure to those affiliates and not just the listing fee.
