I am an affiliate on commission junction and I found an advertiser that also has their own affiliate program on their website. Is it better to go with commission junction or with the advertisers own affiliate program with advertisers that have them?

I have been looking at some different affiliate options and all the advertisers that I have checked out go through commission junction rather than in house. Are they any good these days? They used to be good but I know some things change. What do you think about commission junction? Good or bad?
