Does each blog need approval?

If I get approved for an affiliate program and I later want to put the same affiliate ads on another blog do I have to get it also approved?

There are some affiliate programs and networks that you have to get each blog approved and some that you don't. Rakuten is one that wants every website that you are going to place ads on approved by each advertiser individually.

Some places just want you to follow their guidelines for publishers and have each site where you'll be placing code on listed in your account.

There is not one way that all affiliate advertisers and networks do things so you need to check with any that you are using to see what they require.

Most affiliate programs that I have dealt with do not require you to get each blog (website) approved as long as they are listed on your account and/or are following all of their rules and guidelines.

There are exceptions like Rakuten as pointed out by Ulterios but most are not like that.

Just read their TOS and make sure you do everything correctly.

All the affiliate programs that I joined just required you to be approved once. You just have to follow their rules on other sites that you want to use their ads on.

I think that all of the affiliate programs that I have joined just want you to follow their guides and rules. You can put the advertisements on any of your blogs that are following what they want. Some of them have a place for you to list them in your affiliate control panel.

On share a sale you only have to put the blog names in your account. I know because I asked their customer support this same question myself recently. I don't know about other places.

Yes I found that place to add all of your websites on shareasale.com.

Some others I have not found a place for that though.

You can always try to ask the support people at the places where you can't find it. Some don't have a place though so that can also be why you don't see them.

Well its depends on affiliate network you are joining. Some affiliate networks like CJ, Shareasale needs the list of website where you want to promote the products.

As long as I put them in the account list for the website then that is ok right? I do not need to get each one approved as long as I list it?
