Should I target specific countries

This might sound like a basic question but for someone new it seem important so I will ask it.

Should I target specific countries for my internet marketing or is it better to not focus on and kind of specific locations?

It depends on your targeted area where you are providing your services. If you are providing your service/services in a specific country than you should target that specific country. If your service is worldwide than you don't need to terget any specific country.

If you are looking for higher ROI then you need to target Tier 1 Countries only.

Most of the time Offers which you are getting are Geo Targeted so you for those offers you need to target country specific.

You can also you Worldwide Link which changes the offer according to country and shows a relevant offer.
How do I know which countries are tier 1? I am not even sure I know what that means.

I have a couple of questions. The first one is will you be marketing something that is only used or bought in certain countries. The second one is is the niche you are going to be marketing in something that is specific to certain countries?

If you are trying to promote things that the advertisers want sold to certain countries then yes. If you are trying to promote things that are only used in certain countries that yes.

Other than that you can try to target the countries that are the ones that are better know for sales like someone said higher up the posts.

I would only target specific countries if you have some kind of specific reason to do so, otherwise I would target the Tier 1 countries like Sam said in his replies above since those are usually the better converting countries and often the ones that most advertisers are wanting.

It depends. Will you be trying to market things that only certain countries would have the people that would be wanting what you are marketing.

Other than that I would just go for the major countries that usually buy more or convert whatever you are trying to convert.

I would not target specific countries unless your needs are for just some of them. It will limit your success I think.

Are you going to be marketing or selling something that only certain regions would be interested in?

Unless you have some specific reason to target only certain specific countries then I would just go for the tier 1 countries as they are typically better for sales, conversions, etc.

It's going to depend a lot on what kinds of things your are trying to market and who your target audience is. ;)

I have never done any country targeting because I didn't want to worry about just targeting some because I never really marketed anything that was specific to any certain countries.

I know that many people target specific countries because the conversions are sometime better in some.

I think it just depends on your needs and what you are trying to get people to buy or sign up for.
