I was wondering if it is better to send marketing emails on the weekdays only or if it's ok to send them on the weekend also.

Is this an ok practice or does it look unprofessional by doing business on weekends by means of marketing emails?

I don't think it would look unprofessional to send marketing emails on the weekends these days. Just check your inbox and I am sure that you will see that everyone else is doing it and it's accepted so I don't see any problems with you doing them.

I think it's fine to send your emails on the weekend or any time you want. I get them every day myself so it seems like everyone else is doing it on all days.

Sure it will be fine to send your marketing emails on the weekends. Even the big companies send theirs on the weekends and even the holidays so I think it is accepted by everyone.

If you are worried about it then maybe just send them on Saturday and not Sunday because that is a common day for people to practice their religious beliefs.

I don't think one needs a professional day to do any online business.Online business is for 24 hours and 7 dsys a week.So you can go ahead with the marketing, there's no rule aganist that.

I think that this is totally fine to do. When it comes to customers, I simply ask myself if what I was about to do to them would bother me personally, nd I really think about that and try to put myself in their shoes. However, when it comes to this, I know it would not bother me to get emails on the weekend. The internet runs on its own time, and nothing is forcing me to check my email when I don't want to on a Saturday.

I think there's nothing wrong on sending marketing emails on weekends, because it's just an email. People nowadays doesn't get too insensitive with comes to this kind of stuffs. I think they wouldn't really mind at all even if you send them emails on Sundays . it doesn't actually means that your'e unprofessional because of that. also they have the decision whether to answer you or email you back on weekends. So it's not a big deal.

You can send them any day you want in these times. I get so many of them every day and they do not stop on the weekends so I think everyone thinks it is fine to send them on weekends these days.

Mine too and it is usually that way 365 days a year. I don't think it matter what day it is anymore for most things.

A weekend, comprising of Saturday and Sunday is a time of resting from straight 5 days' work. Though other employees, especially those who are from the BPO setup do have a different day off due to shifting schedules, still a larger share of the population do rest on those mentioned 2 days. If you study peoples' weekly itinerary trend, the most relaxing time to open emails that were sent for the whole week or even previous weeks is on a rest day.

Therefore, go for the bigger share of the cake.

I have sent mine on every day except on Sunday. I don't send them on Sunday because that is a religious day for many people so I respect that and don't send any on that day. I don't think it really matters much so sending them on Sunday will probably be alright also.

Sure it would be OK to send them on the weekends. I think that the worst thing that would happen would be that people might not read them until Monday if they are busy doing other things on the weekend.

I get them every day during the week and including weekends so I think it is accepted and it should be fine to go ahead and do it.

I have always found that Mon-Thur generates the highest response.

    Fridays are typically the worst.

Weekends can be OK and often I see a bump on Monday from those that didn't read from the weekend.

I was thinking those same things and the part about if it would bother me. Since you are not forced to read your emails when you get them I really did not think it mattered.

Some people are touchy about being professional though. Should I consider the type of people I would be sending emails to or should I not even think about that?

    What does BPO mean?

The weekends are better than on Friday?

By the look of my inboxes I think that everyone seems to think that sending marketing emails on the weekends is fine so I don't think many, if any, people would really have a problem with it.

The worst thing would happen would be that people might not read anything you send them until Monday but that shouldn't really matter I would think.
