Is it good to change Wordpress themes?

I saw that some people are changing their blogs here and on other sites a lot lately so I am thinking about changing mine to see if it helps my blog.

Is it good to change Wordpress themes to make it look new or fresh or is it better to just stick with one theme?

If your blog looks good and people like it then you do not need to change it but if you think that it will look better or make the blog easy for people to find more posts then maybe you should. Just changing for no good reason will probably not help it.

You can definitely change your WordPress theme at any time. But make sure that you are using good WordPress themes. I prefer using premium themes like Mythemeshop, Thrive themes, Themeforest etc.

You can change the theme and it shouldn't have to much of any kind of negative effect and sometimes it can improve the user experience with using your site.

If you have something that you and your site visitors like and there is no reason to change themes then you don't need to do it if you don't want to.

I've been doing some changing of themes and designs on some of my sites the last few months. I mainly did it to get them a more modern look as some were a few years old and haven't been redesigned or had any kind of real changes in a long time.

I think it depends on how successful your site is right now and how people like it. You can always post a question or survey of some type in a widget or something asking your visitors if they like the design or if they think a change would be good.

Sometimes changing things on your site can help it and other times hurt it. It's hard to predict for sure what changes will do.

One thing that you might consider is that during a change, you might want to keep some kind of familiarity to your site for users who are familiar with it.

Sometimes keeping the same basic color scheme can help preserve some of the familiarity that people who have used your site previously and help the overall success going forward after the change.

As I have mentioned the Themes like Mythemeshop, Themeforest etc are comes with intuitive theme option panels where you can edit your theme settings like colors, logo, fonts, ad placements etc.

You can ask your visitors for their opinions. Maybe put a widget on the top asking if they like it or not.

since they are the ones who use the site and you are trying to make money from them it is only reasonable that they should be asked for input.
