Is it good to use one affiliate network on a blog?

I am wanting to know if it it better to use one affiliate network for the advertisements on a blog or to use more than one?

Like to use just linkshare or clickbank or share a sale or is it better to use more? Using one just does not have all the products so I am thinking more than one is better but I do not know for sure.

I think it is better to use more than one. This way you can have more things to offer your website traffic than just the things one has.
I think offering more is a better chance to make more money so more is better.

I'm with Argus, I think having more than one will be better. You don't want to limit what affiliate advertisers you can use on your site.

Having multiple networks that you can use will mean a wider variety of advertisers that you can choose from when deciding which ads will be best for your site.

Hope this help.

Cheers, Dean

I thought more than one is better but then it will be harder to hit the limit to get payments from the service. I thought maybe use just one at first then after it makes good money then do more. They usually have a minimum to get paid so if you use more than one it will be harder right?

You should never limit yourself by using only one affiliate network. It's much better to have several options, so that you can cater what you show on your site to who your main audience is.

Don't worry about hitting payout requirements. It's going to be harder to hit them if you are limited by what a certain affiliate network offers.

Good Luck ;)

It might be harder but it might be easy if you have more things to offer to your website visits.
Better to have more so they might buy if they see something they want.

Thanks dude. I was thinking about this earlier today when I got up and was thinking that one might not have everything I want to market on my site. I was thinking if I have more advertisers that are better than I should worry only about that and not payout minimum. I will not get paid if I do not have good products my readers and visits do not see what they want.

You never want to limit what you can offer your website visitors so using more than one will give you a wider variety of products to display on your website.

I would use a combination of whichever had the best products that would work the best on your website.

Never limit your income earning potential by not having what someone might want. :)

Thank you for you opinion. I was worry about the payment minimum but I think now that it is better to have more product to pick from. Then maybe this will make more money by doing this. Thank you

You are welcome. :)

I always thought that having more to offer potential customers or clients was better for sales than to have a limited supply of things to offer. It is always better to give the people what they want or they will look elsewhere. :)

I was looking at what some affiliate network have as advertisers and some have some I want and other ones have others I want. I am guessing that I must for sure use more than one and probably will use 3 or 4 or more.

I have been looking at several different ones and none seem to have all the same advertisers. Based on this then I would think it is better to use multiples so that you can get the most appropriate advertisers as well as the right advertisers for your needs.

Why limit yourself to just one?

Just my thoughts on it. :)

Using multiple affiliate networks is going to be much better for many reasons. If you have more than one affiliate network to choose your ads from then you will have a wider variety of available advertisers and a wider variety of products to choose from. Why limit yourself with just one when multiples gives you more options and a better chance of finding good products to market?

Very good points and some that many people don't think about. It is best to try to find products and services that most closely go with the topic of the site so that way you have the best chance of making a sale.

The best form of ad optimization is offering your visitors something that they might be interested in! ;)

I used more than one in the past and it seemed to be better since you can have the best selling products from each place. That way you have more choices and don't get stuck trying to sell stuff from only one that doesn't have enough good products to sell.

Exactly! Limiting yourself will just limit your earnings and the potential of your website! ;)

That's right but I know some people that do that. One friend does this and when I asked why he said because he likes to use one network to keep track of things easier. I would rather make more money and have more to keep track of myself.

I always though using multiple ad networks would always be best. Some of the sites I see have junk ads on them that I doubt make any sales.

I am thinking along the lines of some of the other members. Why limit yourself and only have some advertisers things to promote when you can have a bigger selection with using more than one place to get ads from?
