Should we change affiliate ads sometime?

I started to change my affiliate advertisements on my blog if they did not make me any money or if they just made a little money. Since I started to do this my affiliate earnings on my blog has been making almost double my income. I would recommend changing them if they are not making money because you are not losing anything.

My policy on this is that if an advertisement spot is not producing the income I want then I make a change. I do try to wait a few weeks before doing it though.

I have been doing that too for the last couple of months. It does not seem to make much difference with the amount of money I make from them though.

I have been trying to wait at least a month. Is that too long you think?

I think that is long enough in most circumstances. I would look at the number of visitors to your site first to get a better picture on if they are good or not.

If you don't get that many people seeing them then it would be harder to know if it is the ad or not.

Then maybe you can try to change to different kinds of things that the ads are for.
