Are Facebook groups a good way to promote affiliate offers?

A friend of mine was marketing his affiliate offers in facebook groups and he was warned not to do it so I think that some of the groups will allow it and some will not. You should ask the person who runs the group for the rules of the group first.

Facebook groups are good for making money with affiliate offers but it is a good idea to make some review or information about the offers on your blog and then make the people come to it to see the offers. Some groups do not like affiliate posts.

I'm in a few Facebook groups and only a couple don't forbid it so you will want to ask the one or ones that are running the group if they allow it.

I started doing that myself after hearing that you may get blocked from the group if you do that.

I found out that some groups do not like posting affiliate offers so now I only post to my blog posts.

That is what I am doing now because I do not want to get blocked from the group.

I think it depends on the people you are with in the group. If the the audience or group-mates are also interested with online work that will be absolutely effective. But I know that you surely get the attention of people if they will be convince that the job is legit and really paying will because everyone needs money. If you can introduce to them that there are real paying job online you friends will also try.

What if the offers are not for jobs or making money online? What if they were just for products?

I have done pretty nicely by using Facebook groups to make affiliate money but I do not post the offers on the group pages themselves. I post things that lead people to come to my blog where the offers are at.

Things like reviews and tips usually do really nicely to get people to come see your page where they might make an affiliate commission for you.

Its a good way now a days.
Reasons are:

- You are building your page by selecting your preferred audience.
- You can start and operate your own group activities.
- Engage audience on your selected or targeted threat by comment, like and share.
- By using content to pull FB users onto your email list, its a great way to increase the growth of your email list.

Do you mean we can start our own Facebook group or just operate our own posts?

Facebook groups can be a great way to promote your affiliate offers but you just have to be careful how you do it. Many of the groups will not allow direct marketing of your affiliate offers so you have to do them in an indirect way like sending people to your site and then having them see what you are offering.

It's always a good idea to find out what is allowed and what isn't allowed in any group you are a part of before you start promoting anything.

Always try to add value to the other group members as this can help you to gain trust and respect. If you are only in the group to promote your offers then you might not have much luck.

Face book does not like any kind of links. From what I learned from my mentor ( years ago)
is to create an image related to your niche and embed your link on the image. Reason being, their algorithms can not read images so when your link is on the image, people can see them without being spammy. If you ever post a image or photo, face book will always ask , what is the photo about. Try it. Like other post, build relationships, engage, then sell. I hope this helps :)
