Are magazine affiliate programs good?

I found a magazine affiliate program that has many offerings in the niche that my blog is in and was thinking about placing some affiliate ads on my blog for them but I don't know if magazine affiliate items are good for sales or not.

Has anyone tried any magazine affiliate programs or know if they are any good or not?

As you have mentioned that the magazine affiliate program is relevant to your niche, then it can be given a go. At the initial stages, the affiliate program may be yield minimum profit by as the traffic tends to increase it can fetch some decent income.

I have tried magazine affiliate programs a few times over the last few years on several different sites and some different niches as well and they never performed well. Maybe I just wasn't in the right niches for these types of offers, who knows?

I tried them just to see how they worked out because they had higher commission amounts and because are doing a little looking it seemed like they might do ok but that never worked out.

I think that if you are in a niche that has an audience that would usually buy magazines then they might do ok though.

I was thinking about using some magazine affiliate offers because one thing I am in is gaming but after talking with some people I don't think it will be a good idea because all the gamers I know they are not getting any magazine but using online sources for things.

Maybe it will work in some niche like cooking or clothes because they are better for magazine sales.

If you are talking about magazine programs for printed magazines then I think that these might be hard to make some good money from because most people are reading ebooks and getting information online.

Never tried that .

How much traffic / UV / day you are getting over your blog/website.

You can try with A/B testing with Ads and CPA offers of different verticals and platforms and the one converting , bringing you more leads you can use that one.
I get usually around 75-150 unique visitors a day on average with some days seeing 200-300 unique visitors.

Then over time they might start to get better results?

Yes I am talking about printed magazines.

I could never get magazine affiliate programs to make good money when I have tried them so I had to swith each time that I used them.

I am not saying that they won't work for you but just that I could not get them to perform well.

I have been reading on these magazine affiliate programs and it seems like they are hard to make good earnings from. I want to read on them more but I might find another products to use instead.

Yeah that seems to be something common that I see when reading about these or seeing posts about them around. They have high commission amounts for the most part and that could be because they are getting harder and harder to convert with all the ebooks, the internet and other sources of reading materials.

Well I was thinking that if I could find a good way to make sales then they would be very good for making money. I just do not know how to go about finding the best way.

Magazine affiliate programs used to be very good for making money many years ago but these days everyone wants ebooks to read or just reads things they find online so there is not the same demand that there once was.

Maybe for a specific niche like cooking where there are many pictures to go with the reading material they might sell ok for you but it might be tougher than other things to market.

I was thinking of using magazine affiliate offers for the cooking niche so then I guess it might work for me.

Yes that is one that magazine affiliate offers may convert for you. Many niches will not work too well I think but that may be a good one for them. Good luck with it.

I think so since I see many people still buying magazines often even though you can get most of the information and recipes online. I think because a lot of people just like to have a physical version to look at.

I tried to make money with magazine affiliate offers but I only got 1 or 2 in many months in trying to use them. I think maybe you have to have the proper email list for these to make some nice money from.

I have made a few more sales than that in using them for several months but they still have not made too much money.

Since more people are just finding the things they want in searches online I think that magazine affiliate programs will not make much money these days.

I tried to use magazine affiliate offers before but they never made me much money so I stopped using those kind of programs.

I was in the cooking and home niches and they did not work so maybe they will work for others but not in these.

I was thinking that also but I know that some people like to have the paper copies of magazines for a few reasons.

Those are some of the areas that I cover also but I know that some people like the magazines because they will often see things that they did not think of searching for. I guess these programs just might not be for me.
