Do you like to travel?

My job has me traveling a very often. I am never at any one place for very long when I am away for work though so I don't get to enjoy the sights or anything.

I am to the point that I really don't like traveling though because I do it so often for work. I used to like traveling but not any more.

I was wondering how some of you guys like traveling. Do you like to travel?

I like to travel sometimes depending on what it's for and to where I am going. I do understand your point though because if I was doing it for work all the time then I would probably not like it either.

Since it's something that you HAVE to do and not something that you WANT to do that is going to make it not quite as much fun.

This is exactly why I have started down that road of disliking doing any traveling. It's just not fun, exciting or entertaining anymore. :(

I like to travel but I don't do it that often and it's not usually work related anymore so that makes it more fun and interesting. I understand that when you are doing something because you have to it will often times not be a fun thing.

I've done traveling as part of my job years ago and it was ok for the most part. Most of it was driving though so there is more things to see and do along the way so it was ok.

If I was flying by plane from place to place then I would have gotten bored though. Just taking flights longer than an hour or two gets me bored. ;)

I like to travel some of the time but not always. I use my ID "Traveler" not because I travel or like to but because I move to different places often. Traveling can be fun as long as you are not forced to I think.

I agree with you on that. Most things in life that you are forced to do or HAVE to do are not going to usually be considered fun. ;)

When I was growing up our family moved and traveled alot because my father worked for the government so I started to not like it very much. as soon as I got to be happy where we lived we would move and I never got to see my mates again. Ever since then I have not really liked to travel.

I used to like traveling when I was younger and didn't have a big family but now that I am older and have a big family I don't like it as much because we have to do a lot more planning and have a lot more responsibilities for all of us.

I am hoping to do a lot of traveling when my children are grown and on their own but who knows what will happen.

I like to travel as long as the place I am going isn't super crowded. I hate dealing with crowds that are very large. Other than that I love traveling and seeing new places.

I liked it in the past but because I have had to do it for work so much I just grew kind of tired of it. I think if I was at a job where I never travel I would like it again.

I never had a big family but I can imagine the extra work to get everyone ready for a trip.

Save the money you make from your internet marketing and you can travel the world when they are all grown. :D

I hate big crowds myself but I usually have to travel to crowded places for work. Places like Chicago, Dallas, San Francisco, Atlanta and some others.

Yes, I like travelling. It's a whole fun experience for me when I travel to new places, meet new culture and people, and learn a few things about them. Also, as they say, travel broadens the mind. I guess, there's truth in that. There's lot of learning and relearning of experiences, many are new, some are shoking, while some just keep you on your good humor. So I think everyone should travel even if it's within it's own country.

I absolutely love to travel; it is one of my favorite things in the world to do. Actually, I am leaving for New York City this Friday for the first time in my life, and I can't wait to see the museums and galleries. I am traveling by train, as well, for the first time, and I am curious and excited about that as well. I am looking forward to soaking up the local culture and checking out the restaurants there.

I love to travel- especially traveling abroad outside of the U.S. It makes you more open minded because you're seeing things that you're not familiar with. I've been to Haiti and the Dominican Republic.

I'm considering traveling to France, or another country in Latin America. Non-english speaking countries are refreshing, even if it's a challenge to speak the same language at first. Regardless I believe you should at least meet them halfway. Don't be a snobby American.

I like to travel as long as I don't have to travel with a large group of people. I have had some business trips and family trips that were just nightmares because of so many people traveling together and something always went wrong.

As a smaller group then I do like to travel but I prefer not to travel to really crowded places.

I'm like you, I used to like to travel but since my old job had me traveling a lot I kind of grew tired of it and don't like it anymore really.

It used to be exciting to travel to new places and see different things but the constant traveling I did for several years kind of killed that excitement for me.

My new job doesn't have me traveling that much so I might start to enjoy it later on, or at least I am hoping.

I like to travel unless it's in the middle of winter and I am going to or through someplace that is having very bad weather.

I have been to a few places in Europe when the weather was so bad that you could not see 1 meter in front of you. I hate that kind of weather.

I like to travel as long as the weather is not too hot or too cold. Many trips and holiday's I have gone on were to places that were either very hot or very cold so that kind of made me consider the weather where I am going more.

I used to travel a lot due to the nature of my work so I go to one place to another place. Although it was tiring but I enjoy the places where I go.

However, traveling with my family to spend vacation in province or in the beach is the best and most rewarding. It makes me relaxed so I saved money for travelling expense every year.

I definitely love travels. specially travelling to provinces here in the Philippines. It's like a paradise of tourists spots here, so you never get bored. If you do have the money to do so, but when I do had the chances on going vacation and travelling to far away provinces, I never let it pass. I like to gather memories of beautiful places because it inspires me to work very hard so that in the future I can go to places much more beautiful than the ones I already saw. So going to the beach, mountains, or anywhere in the provinces is the memories I treasure. I really do hope so to try to travel abroad one day just to experience other culture, but I love the Philippines.
