Is free hosting good for testing

Free hosting is okay to satisfy one own mind that I have got the feel if hosting. Free hosting is not very helpful to learn the intricacies of hosting. Hence it is better to buy paid hosting even for testing.

At first when I asked I was mostly meaning to build a website and try different things like testing only to see what is better and what is not. I know that paid hosting is going to be better and also better for business. I think if some people see you using free web hosting for your business website then they might not think too good of you if you can't even buy cheap web hosting and it will hurt your success.

Ok thank you. I keep changing my mind if I want to try it for testing but put real sites on a good paid hosting.

I have tried to use free hosting in the past and it was nothing but problems. A lot of outages and my site going down. Since paid hosting is so cheap these days it is better to just buy something and avoid the headaches. I guess you can use it for testing but it is just going to be better to pay a few dollars and get some paid hosting.

Can't trust a business that has ads placed all over their site right? that's how they make most of their money.

I think NO, because free hosting will limit you more features to use or to test hence you should go with a cheap web hosting plan like a VPS, just start with $5 per month, you may own a VPS and start testing server and control panels for your websites before publishing it to online.

$5 for VPS ??? I must be living under a rock. I haven't seen those cheap prices anywhere. 90% of the websites that I had visited in 14 years start off at $15 a month. Do you a search and I can almost bet that you will find shared web hosting with unlimited bandwith and traffic for under $5 a month. Great for testing, this way you know your website will not get shut down.

Yes I can even I can got some cheaper but I would go with a VPS, it is better for secure and resource.
