how long did it take you before you can make your online business as your full time job?

how long before you decided to quit your day job and make Freelancing a full time opportunity?

I hope that it could happen in the next year or so. As of right now, I can't freelance full-time yet, but I sure hope that the day comes that I can. Maybe with the three sites I'm on for freelancing and the newspaper articles I write, that maybe I can make enough consistent money to become full time in the next year, possible two. I'm getting older and lazier, and don't really want to go to work anymore, but have no choice at the moment.
