How does SEO help in Your business sale?

SEO do wonders when done right. My relative, who runs a beauty products distribution business, earns thousands of dollars every month from her business. And how did she do that when there are so many rival distributors out there who also got websites just like hers? She spent a lot of time learning about SEO, and implemented it in the right way.

PPC and SEO are two different things - PPC stands for "Pay-Per-Click", this term is usually used when people are talking about how much money a publisher earn for every click an ad receive on their site, while SEO stands for "Search Engine Optimization" which is pretty self-explanatory :)

Hey there,
Is SEO really helpful in website conversion rate?
Does PPC give more good results than SEO?

SEO has nothing to do with your conversion rates... SEO is all about getting your site to rank on the SERPs (search engine results page) for given keywords which are entered - which is referred to as organic traffic... SEO is generally speaking split into two parts which being:

On-page factors e.g. title, meta, heading tags, keyword optimization, site navigation, post/page URLs, silos, canonicalization, image alt tags etc..
Off-page factors is largely related to backlinks to your site... Links is what makes the web. Googles core algo is based on assessing the quality of links which counts as votes for your website...

Your conversion rates relates to how well your website is presented, the sales copy etc... SEO helps with getting traffic but when they get to your site you need to focus on CRO (conversion rate optimization) as well as copywriting which is another subject... It includes things like split testing of sales pages, collating data and making efforts to understand user behaviour and to use that to your advantage... There is of course areas which overlap such as user engagement and minimizing bounce rates which comes about when you have great, helpful content etc...

Finally with PPC - you pay for each click on your ad... This is another big area of marketing which requires time and effort to learn... The key here is to ensure you maximize your ROI and prevent loss of funds with ads which do not convert to sales...

Hope that helps!

What you mean PPC?
Did you mean Google Adwords, Facebook ads, and other CPC program..?

If so, I'd answer that both above could not help you to improve more sales. You know..? It's way to improve more present of the business, but the most online buyers are return visitors.

Once, you solve your customer problem after they bough your product..., the best way for you is to capture email to your mailing list...

The most important step to improve your sales is to convert your subscribers to buyer...

Could you elaborate this?

I am curious why Google Adwords, Facebook ads, and other CPC program didn't covert sales from its traffic?

According to CopyBlogger, The most of buyers who bough your product are return visitors. It mean that didn't decided to buy your product immediately because many reasons. Maybe don't trust on you, maybe they want to learn more about those product, or maybe don't know...

Adword, Facebook, and other CPC program is the ways for advertise your business, but you not get high ROI if did wrong way. If you want generate more sales through CPC program, you'll have to learn about preparing your landing page.

The step are,

1. Capture leads

2. Convert sales

3. You got money...

SEO is a "free" way to get traffic to a website. (I say "free" because it costs time not money.)
PPC is a paid way.

Both can be helpful to someone's conversion rate. The more people you have looking at an offer hopefully the more will buy.
If you have traffic and no conversions, maybe it's time to look at the offer and landing page.

PPC costs you money so if you can not afford it then seo is the best way to go if you know how to do it yourself. If you are just starting out with your website then you need to do some seo anyway or you will always have to keep buying clicks and traffic.

If you can do both then it is better. PPC will probably make more sales since people are clicking on an advertisement that has caught their attention.

I don't think that SEO is generally going to help your conversion rates directly. It can help to generate the right traffic to your site that will in turn help you achieve a better conversion rate.

PPC would be the best choice for conversion rate increases, especially for immediate results.

Hope this helps.

Cheers, Dean.

SEO isn't for conversion rates for the most part. SEO is for improving the search rankings for your website or blog. Higher rankings in return can help conversions as long as you are ranking for the right keywords.

Yes PPC is going to give you better conversions over SEO because people are clicking because they are interested in what they saw. This costs money but will get you quick results if you campaign is set-up properly.

SEO causes you to make your site and general web presence better for your prospects and customers. When you improve your site’s content, functionality, user experience, etc. for search engines, your visitors benefit.
