Alexa rankin is worthless, it only shows how much traffic comes to a site however, this can be easily fooled with traffic exchange site and should never be taken under consideration. You can use services like compete.com however, this service only gets the traffic coming from the US.

I recommend using SimilarWeb.com this service is similar to Compete.com but, it’s got a lot more detail put into it, so it’s more accurate!

I never use Alexa as the stats can easily be manipulated on that site. Instead I just use tend to use Similarweb which is similat to Alexa but it's very advanced.

Alexa can give a rough idea about the traffic on the website. But it is not of much help if one is looking for accuracy of information.

If you want a more accurate way to keep track of your traffic your website gets then just use Google Analytics. You just add a code to your site and the traffic numbers and other stats will be much more accurate then any of those external services which are just educated guesses anyway.
