How long do you spend on your computer?

I was very shocked the other day when I encountered a questionnaire asking me how long I spent on my computer. The results were astounding for me.

How long do you spend on your computer in a given day?

I was also very surprised when I sat down to do the mathematics of how long I spend on my computer.
I work as a writer and internet market from home. This takes about 16 hours per day.
I get all my news and current affairs from my internet sources which take about 2 hours per day.
I watch movies and television series to help me relax between jobs which take 3 hours from my day.
My music play list is fed into my computer which plays continuously even when I am asleep.
So, I am on my computer 24 hours in a day. How could that even be possible?

Honestly, I used to spend 18 hours for working with online business. But now I work smarter, I just spent only 6 to 4 hours for working online..

I honestly think that I am right there with you. Especially at the moment, as I don't have enough money to pay my direct TV bill. I have Netflix at home, so I watch it instead of TV. At work, I'm online 8 hours a day, at least half of that is me fooling around on forums, research, Facebook, email, freelancing and the like. I also don't watch the news on TV, because I find it depressing even when I do have TV, I get all my news and weather from online sources only. Along with that, I try to write blogs for characters at almost daily, and apply to freelance jobs frequently while I'm sitting at home. The computer finally goes off when I go to bed. So, I'm thinking 24 hours a day is about right at the moment, pretty scary isn't it?

The computer stays on 24 hours a day 7 days a week.. honestly I never know when I'll need to go back to the computer for something or a new client signs up and they need to be reviewed and checked before approval.

This is one of those questions that's hard for me to answer because if varies so drastically. I would say that over a month period the average is probably 7 to 8 hours per day.

I know that there are some days that I am on 5 or 6 hours per day and others where I am on 12 hours or more. I have never given enough thought to find an accurate number, perhaps I should.

I only get to spend maybe half an hour to an hour but that is because the internet service where I live is very poor. It gets a bit frustrating at times.

I would love to be able to spend more time online and I am currently looking at other internet options.

I spend about 12-16 hours a day on my computer usually 7 days a week usually. There are rare exceptions to this but for the most part this is the norm for me.

I am constantly working or doing research (still working I guess) and trying to find ways to do things better or more efficiently. I definitely need a vacation, but I know I would just be working then too so I guess I really don't need one other than to say I had one!

I mostly spend 1 or 2 hours on my computer at home. At work maybe 1 or 2 more but it depends on many things. My home internet does not go very fast so some times I spend less time than 1 or 2 hours. It mostly depends on my patience with loading times.

I used to spend a lot more time like 6 to 8 hours a day. Now I have too much school work to get my degree so I only spend 1 to 3 hours per day on week days and maybe 3 to 5 sometime on weekends.

Some of my friends spend 7 or 8 hours on theirs plus some time at work. Some people spend too much time on their computer and need to go out more. Staying inside all day every day is not good for you.

Every day I spend 12-14 hours. This is my job. On Saturday and Sunday I can relax.
