Are exact match keyword domains still working?

I don't know this true or false but some my colleges said that if I choose a domain with keyword included in it then it will be easier for SEO. Is it right?

Please guide me

This was a big factor a few years ago, today it's not always the case. The content of the website must coincide with the keyword used in the domain otherwise the search engines can see it as you are trying to play them.

Assuming your content matched the domain, they were working on Bing and Yahoo a few years back. Nonetheless, Google has long since made them an enemy. However, though, the exact match nature of things is only one factor. If you take all the factors together, then it's possible exact match domains would even work on Google nowadays and there are examples; for instance, NewYorkJobs.com ranks for "New York Jobs" (on Google).
