The Gaming Niche?

I am seeing more forums and websites built into the gaming niche, does it have profit or just a trend today?

Any comments?

It's an oversaturated niche in general. But if you like it, or have an interest in one or more gaming subniche that is not oversaturated yet, just give it a shot.

Many community forums and websites were built around video gaming because it's a huge market with tons of audience, even the subniches are getting relatively big attention.

Be passionate about what you're doing, and you will see the paths only few could. There's no one failproof way to succeed, but when you love what you do, and can genuinely relate to what you do and your audience, everything that you do around it will be likely to contribute towards your eventual success.

Take a look at successful YouTube content creators in gaming niche, for example. They didn't succeed because they have a bachelor degree in marketing and psychology, nor years of prior marketing experience. They just do what they love to do, and eventually learn about things that are necessary to succeed.

If you want a more objective advice though, as usual, create quality contents and they will market themselves. Or at least, marketing quality contents is like riding a bike downhill, while marketing bad quality contents is like riding a bike uphill, with its wheels locked.
