Is bigger always better?

Size is important, but not as important as you think. I love this story of a guy who makes $2,000 per month from his email list of only 5,000 subcribers. He doesn't do anything special but still earn good, is his list really quality?

Well size is usually more important if you have a lower quality email list than if you have a higher quality email list. This isn't always the case though. Of course if you have a bigger email list then that will always be better if the quality is the same.

I think that it's more important to have a targeted email list that the recipients are interested in the things that you are marketing. This way your success rate and the money you make will be better.

Cheers, Dean.

Determining if his list is quality or not doesn't just depend on how much he makes from it. It also depends on what he's selling, how many sales does it take each month to get that $2k, did he buy the list and what did he pay for it as well as many other factors.

Is it one sale each month that makes that $2k or is it many? There are too many unknowns to give an opinion as to if the list is a quality one or not.

Without knowing more about the list and other variables it's hard to determine if it's a quality list or not. ;)
