How do you define the benefits of Internet?

Hi there,

A young child was given an assignment in school to list down what the benefits of the internet are. He came to me and I found out that I can feel the internet but it was difficult for me to actually define the benefits.

What would you include in your list?

Here is mine off the top of my head:
- Source of online jobs
- The best communication medium of our age
- A source of entertainment such as games and videos
- The best marketplace in the world, i think internetmarketingstar.com is one of them
- A means of financial exchange e.g. Bit coins, Forex Trading, PayPal, Payoneer etc;
- An alternative classroom
- where internet marketers, webmasters...join and discussing.
- Getting new friends and update latest information from old friends..etc
- Making money online, always is my best choice
