Is RSS Feed still working?

I am disabling RSS feed on my blog, I don't think it's neesscary today

I'm wondering RSS Feed is still working for traffic and I should enable it?

I think, Whereas, It is one of the best way to keep some readers engaged and many people use it still yet, So we don't need to avoid it.

I personally would not bother... RSS feeds can be exploited to steal content as soon as it is published using automated tools and if done by bigger more authoritative sites then you'll find G gives them credit on the search results as they crawl and index those sites more frequently...

If you are going to use them then protect yourself with only providing an excerpt of an article within the RSS feed together with embedding a link back to your site which cites your website as the original source... Most of those who exploit RSS with stealing content are too lazy to check and remove such links...

Further most people online do not bother to subscribe to RSS feeds - a better approach would be to get them to sign up to your email list...
