WooCommerce vs WP eCommerce?

I want to build a small shop with wordpress, i did a search and found 2 plugins WooCommerce vs WP eCommerce

but I have not tried them before, have you guys here used it, give me an advice, which i should use?

Haven't used either, but from my personal experience your best bet is to test them to ensure that one of them meets the needs of the business in regards, taxes, shipping, client portal, plugins, support, etc...

Both appear to be solid from what I have looked at.

WP eCommerce is the original plug in. WooCommerce tends to be more popular. Your question is valid. I find that hte extenions and reources on WP eCommerce are easier to work with. I am curious to see what other people think.
