Traffic from web directories?

Do you get traffic from web directories?

Or it is only helpful for increasing ranking for your websites or keywords?

Web directories submission is almost gone, but I'm not meaning that it is less unless you chose the right directories for submitting your website..

Also, be careful when you submit your website to web directories because some of those websites have lot of spam link thus it'll damage your SEO....

Web directories doesn't help to drive any traffic today. I would say classified ads are more active and help to generate some amount of traffic.
