I've posted about this before you can find a reply I did about this
here. Now I highly doubt you will rank for the keyword seo blog. If you do a quick search in Google you will find that the SERP 1 in Google shows sites like Moz.com, SEOBook.com, Inc.com, those are really well established sites with a high authority. So, outranking them with a new site will be pretty much impossible.
Now. I'm not saying you can't outrank then, it's just that 3 months is not very "realistic". Read the post I made before about this and you will be able to fully understand what I mean. Again
