Are affiliate sales usually slow on the weekends?

I was looking at some data and I get most of my affiliate sales on weekdays and not very often on the weekends. Is this how it usually is for most people?

I haven't looked into this at all but now that you bring it up I think I am going to have to see for myself. I was wondering if there were certain days that would be better than others but maybe the weekends vs weekdays data will give a good picture on this.

I have not noticed any kind of difference with mine between the weekends and weekdays. Maybe it is the types of things that you are marketing.

Mine are pretty consistent for the most part without much difference from weekdays to weekends. I do notice some changes for different seasons of the year though.

If your sales are slow on the weekends then maybe it has something to do with the niche you are working with or the type of affiliate products you are marketing. Maybe the niche you are working in has many people who are away from their computers and not using smart phones on the weekends. Just a guess though.

Thanks to all. Maybe it is just me and not a normal thing. I was just asking because it has been this way since I started with internet marketing so I though it was the normal thing.

Right now my sales are only random and I have not seen any difference from the weekdays and the weekends. Maybe when I start getting more consistent sales then I will notice some differences but right now I see no kind of difference.

Thank you everyone for your answers. After reading more on it I think it might just be my marketing and not the days as I thought.

I will check some things and get some more data.

I was looking at my sales recently and the 2 best days for me are Saturday and Tuesday so I have one good weekend day and one good weekday. It might make a difference with what you are marketing.

I read on a blog today that said that their best day for sales was Saturday so I am thinking it is just me.

I have not really checked to see which days my affiliate sales are usually on but an educated guess is that it doesn't matter the day because they all seem to be random when they happen and there is not any day or days that they seem to happen most on. If this is happening to you then maybe it is because of the things you are marketing.

It might be or maybe it's just the things you are marketing or the niche you are in.

I thought mine were random too until I was looking at the data and it showed my sales are happening on weekdays.

I checked on mine after seeing your post here and mine are all random days and the only one that has more sales than the others is Wednesday.

Since more people have said that I am thinking it might just be me or the things that I am marketing. I just was not sure or not and that is why I asked. I want to make sure.

If you ever try marketing different things then you can keep track of when they are selling best and then compare the results. It might be the things that you are marketing but I do not know enough about that to say for sure.

Yes, sales and traffic went slow in weekends. I have also notice this. In weekends people love to spend some time with their friends and families. So, this would be the reason behind this slow down.

I have to agree..I have seen this happen a lot with the campaigns I ran in the past. I believe it's relaxing time for your prospects on weekends...might be the reason why. This pattern is common when you run affiliate campaigns for various niches.
I was thinking it might be something like that but I am not sure. I was thinking about trying different products and see what happens.

Then should I try to change the things that are on my blog on the weekends? Perhaps things that sell better on the weekends?
