How to launch a new business?

What are the things I need to prepare to start a new business? money? skills or a good team?

I would to hear your thoughts.

I think the things needed to launch a new business are going to be different for each type of business. Depending on what type of business you are launching, the things needed for success will be different.

I do think that no matter what type of business you are wanting to launch, you will need to have whatever skills are needed for that type of business. You will also need money no matter what type of business you are starting but the amount will be depending on what business you are going to start.

Online business can probably be launched for a lot less than a traditional business with a shop or store but I guess that depends on the type of business as well.

I would first try to do some researching around Google and see everything that is needed and then try to find prices for those things. That can probably give you a rough idea about what you will probably need to launch your business.

I also think this is going to depend on what type of business you are wanting to launch. Money and skill as you stated are surely good to have.

I think that planning and research are both a must, especially if you want to succeed. I would look at other similar businesses that are in the same field/niche that you want to get into and see how they are doing things. Since copying what a successful business is something that the big businesses do, I am sure it would work well for smaller startups.

Overall I think that you just need to not jump into anything before checking it out completely and making sure it's something you want to do and are committed to doing.

I agree with what was said by the members above, and in particular the part about planning. You need to account for any expenses that are planned as well as unplanned expenses. Things will always come up the will require more money that you originally think, no matter how much planning so make sure you have extra money set aside for unplanned expenses.

Try to research all aspects of the business that you are planning to go into and find out all you can about what will be needed to succeed. Try to figure on not making much money at first, then if you do make money then it's just an unexpected bonus.
