Hhow many words do you need for each article to be effective with google?

Curious who writes your articles for you or yourself, if you hired a writer then what do they charge?

What is the minimal number of articles do I need per website?

About 1200 words

I write my own articles, I don't trust other writers, if I hired someone else I'll pay for quality not quantity!

I'd say as much as you could, but there are other factors to consider.

This is going to depend on what is the topic and how is best to get your message, point or other information across to the intended readers. Some articles will be around 500-600 words, while others may be over 1000+ words.

Some writers are able to get their point across easier with less words, while others need more. There is no set number, but Google doesn't like those 100 or so word articles unless you are one of those big sites it seems.

I write my own articles, although I have considered using other sources. Prices will range from $3 for a small article at a low-quality (probably) writing service up to $100+ for an article. It all depends on the source and who is writing the article.

There's not really a minimum, however I like to have a minimum of 10-15 articles on a website of mine.

I always write my own articles, not to say I won't use other writers later but for now I write them all.

There is no magic number of words for an article to be a good and successful one. When I write I do any needed research both before and sometimes during the time when I am writing.

I don't set out to have a minimum amount of words, I just try to make a well written and informative article. Sometimes they can be 1500+ words, many times less. It depends a lot on the topic and what I want to say.

There is also no minimum number of articles for success. Obviously the more, the better but when I start a new site I like to have 15-20+ articles and also keep writing more along the way.

I also tend to write about things I know about and like, that helps make the writing process easier.

Cheers, Dean.

When I need one - I check fiverr gigs providers. Plenty to choose from.
How can you tell which gigs are better?

I was looking at those but not too sure which ones are good. It seem like all the sellers have similar feedback ratings.

I write my own right now but I might pay someone to write some for me to see how that will work. I try to have as many words as I can when I am writing my articles but I try to not make them too long so they will not be too long for people to want to read them.

Right now I have over 30 articles on my website and was doing many for a little while but I have been not writing as much since I have been more busy lately.

There is no ideal length or word limit which can define the limit that will be effective with Google. The topic of the article, the niche, the audience, the credibility of the website, the information available, etc. defines the length of the article. If the writer can explain the topic in fewer words, then it is fine, and if more words are required to the explain the topic, then that also is allowed.

I do it on my own. I have established myself in the market as a freelance writer and a blogger. I don't need someone to write articles for me. I can save as much in hiring and also I have editing skills thanks to many magazines I have worked with, which have helped me to refine Editting and proofreading skills.

I have thought about having a freelancer write my articles for me but often times I decided against it. I usually write my articles myself so that I have to do the research and know the area inside out. That way, I don’t have to guess what a person commenting on my post means.

Another reason I write my articles is, it’s usually about what I love. So I don’t see researching the topic as a chore because I find learning something new about the topic rewarding. And finally, by writing my own articles, my readers get used to my style of writing, something that a freelancer won't be able to capture quite fully.

Same here bro. I began my blog to express myself, exercise my knowledge and also learn more from the interaction with people from different points of view. So I only make sense if I do all the writing yes? Also, i wouldn't be able to spend money on it anyway.

I don't know what the minimum amount of words for articles should be but Google is not supposed to like short articles so I would just do something that is not short. Maybe shoot for over 700-800 words. I have been doing that lately myself.

I write my own articles, if you can call it that. I have never really been the best writer but based on what else I have seen on some sites I think that it's not as bad as I think that it is.

Based on what I have read Google hates short articles so I would try to get them well above 500 words for a minimum.

There is no minimum amount of articles you need to have but the more you have then the more chances that someone will see them in search results and go to your site.
