There are two types of blogs people typically create in the "make money online" space.
1) A tutorial style website that teaches other people how to make money online
2) A "follow my journey with me as I try to learn how to make money online" style of website

If you don't really have much experience earning money from internet marketing in any way, then it doesn't really make sense for you to do the first type of site listed there. A lot of people do that, and they end up failing, mostly because it is hard to give out good advice when you haven't learned enough yet. They try to fake it till they make it, but never actually make it.

A smaller percentage of people will do the second type of site where they invite you to "follow their journey as they try to make money online". For someone without a lot of experience, that is a better style of website. You will end up attracting people who are just like you who are trying to also learn how to do internet marketing/affiliate marketing/make money with websites/etc... They feel a connection to you because they know exactly what you are going through. And they trust you more because you are being honest with them about your experiences.

My advice is - if you are currently running the first style of blog I mentioned, I think you should consider switching to the second type where you can be 100% honest with people. You don't have to fake anything. You can simply share what you are learning. There are some rich people in the industry who started out this way.

Tip number 2 - Make lots of friends online. Don't just make acquaintances. Build real friendships. Those friends will come in handy when you need them.

I would suggest for a better research following up with similar niche high authority blogs. This will help you to get positive ideas to enhance your next blog post.

Also social networking helps much to spread the news across mass networks to generate good traffic for your website. Try to engage in blog comments and conversations with similar niche blogs. This will help to get more unique visitors to your blog from various sources.

Sometimes blogging can take some time to get good traffic to your blog, especially if your blog is in a very competitive niche like making money online. You just need to keep at it and do as much promotion of your blog posts as you can to help get more traffic and a good following.

Social media is a good option to help your blog gain visitors, followers and sign-ups for your email list.

You just have to stick to it and if you do and do all you can to help yourself then the time will come when things start to get easier and easier and you'll be happy that you stuck with it.

I think that many people fail in blogging because they think that they can just build up a blog and then the traffic and money from whatever monetization methods they are using will just start pouring in.

Blogging usually takes time to build up things to a point that success is reached and maintained. Nothing great can come that easy or everyone would do it! ;)

Many people failed because they think it is easy way to make much money. I thought this too until I tried to do it and did not make much money doing it.

I think newbie bloggers failed in blogging because they have lack of patience and a lot of confusion. They choose different niches at once and try to conquer everything in short time. Which will make them more impatient and finally they quit. So, Choose one niche where you have enough knowledge and command and you can put 100% in it. Creating high quality content is also a big factor for new comers.

Very good information my friend. I often see people give up way too soon because they think that all they have to do is put up a blog real quickly and it will become a success without giving much effort.

They also often choose a niche that they know nothing about and that can be a big mistake. It's easier to gain success when you know something about the niche you choose.

Creating high quality content is also a big factor for new comers.
Another good point! A lot of new bloggers will copy, scrape or plagiarize content from around the web and then wonder why Google does not like their blogs. High quality content is the best way to rank well and keep your blog readers happy. :)

I'm interested in making blogs and sharing things, ideas or experience but I don't know exactly how to start. I tried reading some tips on how to start but I found them complicated, that made me re think and step back, in your case you have started it already and somehow have the taste of how it is to be a blogger. Your attitude of not quitting and your passion on what you do will get you to where you want to be. Good luck on your journey and I would love to read your blogs.

I am not any professional blogger and don't know a lot about it but based on my own personal experiences I would say that one of the biggest reasons that people fail at blogging is having or using the wrong information or not having enough of the right information on how to best do things.

There is a lot of wrong information out there and if you are new then some seems like it's right when it's not. Good information will really help I think.

Blogging need a whole lot of patience and consistency.you must be determined to succeed and not to listen to bogus stories from scammers that have never made a dime from the internet.Nothing good comes easy, don't quite just yet.

Try and write good content after researching on. the topic

Last 2012, I was planning on starting on my own blog. Ive watched videos on different sitea to teach me start my own blog. My first blog was a music download blog, but I failed.
Reasons why I failed is that I lack content. Mp3 download blog needs to be updated all the times. Also my blog was not catchy enough for visitor.
These are some factors I believe you should consider if your gonna start with your blog.
I hope it helps.

I failed myself in a way last year. I was not putting enough time into my blogging and only doing it from time to time. Based on my own experiences I would say that one of the most important factors is just putting the time required to be successful at blogging into it.

Some people like me have no excuse for their own failure because they did not do what it takes to be successful.

I have talked to some successful bloggers and they say that most people are failing because of their time put into it and their dedication to long term success was not there.

They have said the hardest part is just getting started but once things get going it becomes easier.

Many people fail at blogging because they just copy and paste or spin the blog posts of other bloggers instead of offering anything unique and original.

There are so many junk blogs out there that do this and they wonder why they fail and Google does not rank their blogs high in the search results.
