Any big plans for 2017?

In about a month and a half 2017 will be here and usually around this time of year many of us have plans that we are looking forward to or projects that we are trying to get up and going. So I thought it would be nice to have some of our members share some of their plans, goals or things they are looking to start or achieve in 2017.

I'll start of with my plans. I currently have several websites and I am looking to trim that down a little even though I have a couple I want to launch in 2017. I am trying to cut out the ones that are not doing as well as I would like and target more of my time on the ones that are doing well.

I am also trying to work some things out to be more efficient with my time and get more done in the time that I have. We'll see how that goes.

I also want to increase my marketing efforts into new areas to see how that works.

Lots of things I am hoping to do so we will see if it happens to work out or not.

What are your plans and goals for 2017?

Cheers, Dean.

Well I haven't got anything that I have said that I want to do in 2017 specifically but I do have some plans that will be happening at the first of the year.

I have 2 websites that I have been working on for a while although I haven't had the time to really dedicate to them like I would prefer because I have been busy getting some other things taken care of. I am hoping to get the 2 websites launched soon. First one, then the other hopefully soon after.

Other than those I am planning on getting my domain inventory thinned down a bit and that is something that I hope to achieve in 2017.

I will not be making any New Year's resolutions because my 2016 New Year's resolution was not to make any more New Year's resolutions. ;)

Not really a big plan but currently one of my brother's friend invite me to join him with Amazon affiliate work. I'm still considering this but this could possibly be a good chance cuz I'm going to retire from my current work.
Some people make good money with the Amazon affiliate program so that might turn out well, you never know. Maybe 2017 can turn out to be a very big year for you. If you decide to do it then I wish you good luck and much success. :)

Cheers, Dean.

In 2017 I am going to be trying to increase my marketing efforts and the earnings from them. I would like to be able to spend more time with my family and less time working at my job. :)

In 2017 I am planning to start doing a lot more marketing and hopefully start making some good income so that I can one day start doing it as a full time job. I also want to create some websites that I have ideas for.

I think one of the biggest plans I have looking into next year is how to better mix family with work. I don't know about the rest of you, but internet marketing takes a lot of time for me as I typically have more than 40 live sites at any given time. This takes a lot of time in maintaining content writers, developing, researching, SEO, and then ultimately, flipping.
What I have a problem with is being being more efficient and trying not to get consumed in my work. There are days where I literally spend 20 hours in front of either a pc, on my phone, or on a tablet and it takes a lot of time away from my family.
I got into internet marketing years ago with one of the biggest reasons of wanting to spend more quality time with my family. Ironically, I can get so consumed in what I'm doing online that I seem to forget what matters the most to me. Of course, there are numerous things that I want to concentrate more time on looking at 2017 such as advertising and active promotions such as banner ads and PPC as most of my time comes with developing Adsense and Amazon related websites.

I tend to get consumed in my work as well. Many times I don't even realize how much time I have spent working on a given day. I am always trying to be more efficient as well and I am always looking for ways to improve on the things I do, either in results or time spent doing them. It doesn't always work out that way but at least I try. LOL

It gets worse as the products in life which were intended to make us more efficient have actually made us less efficient. Well, kind of anyways. For instance, we've all been there but how many times have we been out with the family or having the intentions to keep work at home only to find ourselves responding to an email or checking our stats right from our phones? Efficient yes, but it depends on how you look at it....

LOL, Yes that is very true and I am guilty of doing that myself many times. Sometimes home can have too many different distractions that can interfere with our best intentions when trying to work at home.

I plan on starting a private PPL network.

I've been developing and promoting PPL offers for a long time and have been meaning to do it for years, but just kept putting it off. Plus, lead generation offers will never go away, no matter how things change...business will always need leads. So the time has final come to do it.

Nice, good luck with the setup. Since you have a lot of experience the setup and everything should be easy. Be sure to let us know here on the forum when you are finished with it so we can check it out. :)

Nice plan, good luck with it. Since you have the experience, as Dean stated, you should be able to do well with it. ;)

The key is to have good affiliates (publishers) that are capable of producing big $$$.

So I decided to take a little more of a long term approach and started a coaching program, where I teach others how to monetize data. So all my students should essentially be built in affiliates. While it is a longer process, I will know they are all capable of being super affiliates and will do things the right way. As long as I provide good offers for them to mail, they should be pretty loyal.

I agree. That's going to help insure success with an affiliate program.

Sometimes taking the longer approach can be the best way to go and help to ensure that success will be an ongoing thing and not just a short term thing.

You have obviously taken the time to think things through so I am sure that you will be successful.

Good luck.

That's a good plan and I am sure that you will achieve it. I wouldn't mind living by the ocean myself and I wouldn't even care if it was in a warm place or not. :D

I'm planning on dedicating more time to my marketing efforts so that I can make enough money do that so that I can save up some money to help out some family members that can use the help. Fingers are crossed!
